General information
Regulation on the students’ enrolments to the Primary School of the Embassy of the Russian Federation in Australia is worked out on the basis of the constitutional rights of the Russian citizens to get basic education rooted in the principles of general availability and free education, state educational policy and protection of child’s interests.
Admission rules
1. Enrolments are available for all children of the Russian citizens posted to Australia by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation.
2. Children of the Russian citizens sent to Australia by other Russian Government institutions as well as Russian and international students living in Australia can also be enrolled in the Primary School on a space available and direct contract payment bases.
3. Children aged 6,5-8 years without any adverse health conditions to study at the elementary school are admitted to the 1st grade.
4. Children under 6,5 and over 8 years can also be enrolled on the basis of parents’ (guardians’) application request and medical conclusion.
5. Application documents for the 1st grade students:
- Application request addressed to the Ambassador of the Russian Federation in Australia;
- Copy of the child’s birth certificate;
- Child’s medical records.
6. Application documents for the 2nd – 4th grade students:
- Application request addressed to the Ambassador of the Russian Federation in Australia;
- Child’s personal records stamped by the previous educational institution;
- Current mark records in all subjects stamped by the educational institution;
- Copy of the child’s birth certificate;
- Child’s medical records.
7. Without documents required children can be admitted after having been tested by the school teachers.
8. Students, their parents (guardians) shall be informed of the school statute, general routine, educational programs and other documents regulating school tuition.
